About Western States Paso Finos

In 2003 several dedicated and passionate breeders of Paso Fino horses scattered across Idaho were drawn together by their desire to promote these smooth gaited horses to a wider cross section of the public and to provide increased support for Paso Fino owners and others interested in gaited horses through opportunities for continuing education and cooperative marketing.  The joint venture quickly grew from the original Idaho Paso Finos to Western States Paso Finos.

Our founding members include breeders, professional trainers, and family-run ranches brought together under the overall belief that together everyone achieves more.  We promote WSPF through advertising in local, regional and national publications and participation in horse expos, parades and horse shows.  Visit our Calendar of events and Show Off pages to see just how much fun owning a Paso Fino can be!

Mission Statement, Purpose and Goals:
The Western States Paso Finos group was formed to promote and provide benefits to the Paso Fino breed and to our members through continuing education in the form of horsemanship and training clinics, increased public awareness, and pro-active marketing strategies; and to help preserve the heritage of the Paso Fino breed through support of the Paso Fino Horse Association.   To Read More ....
